Landscapes
I began painting Landscapes in response to a request from my husband, and have never stopped. I paint all sorts of scenes, from factually correct landscapes of recognised places, to imaginary scenes based on various memories and photographs, and totally imagined and slightly surreal paintings of twisted trees and rocks.
As with all my paintings, my landscapes are colourful and bold.
I have visited Scotland often, and this along with Switzerland and Austria, feature heavily in my work. I love the colours and moods that mountains and lochs convey, particularly when partially covered in clouds and mists.
